Authorities were looking Tuesday for an inmate who escaped while on a work assignment at the Pickens County landfill. Christopher Daniels, who was being housed at the Pickens County Detention Center, was confirmed missing around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to the South Carolina Department of Corrections.
