| Sentencing Delayed For Teen Who Attacked Bus Driver |

A PUBLIC transport ban imposed on a teenage boy who blinded a Transperth bus driver in one eye with a rock has been lifted to allow the youth to attend pre-sentence interviews. The Langford teen was due to be sentenced today but the Perth Children's Court was told a pre-sentence report had not been prepared because the youth had failed to keep three appointments with Department of Corrections staff. The youth's lawyer Peter Collins said the teen had missed the appointments due to 'transport issues' resulting from a bail condition which prevented him from using public transport. Read More. |
