Fox Lake Police and Lake County Crime Stoppers are asking for help in finding a fugitive wanted for shooting a man in the head behind the Shell gas station in Fox Lake April 18. Bowen Rice, 23, of Fox Lake is wanted on a warrant for aggravated battery and aggravated discharge of a firearm, according to Crime Stoppers. Police said Rice approached a 40-year-old man behind the gas station at 54 E. Grand Ave. and shot him once in the head. The bullet went in near his ear and exited his forehead. He was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center, Libertyville, for treatment and then was released. Read More. |
