Five men were killed in six days in five separate incidents this past week in Prince George's County, bringing the homicide total for the year up to 28, police said.

One arrest has been made in one of the five cases thus far, and police are still looking for suspects in the others.

The most recent homicide occurred Sunday afternoon, when a feud between Brandywine neighbors turned violent and a man allegedly shot and injured an 18-year-old man and fatally shot the man's father.

The son, Robert Mitchell Jr., was outside the home in the 8800 block of Charm Court and was engaged in an argument with his neighbor, Ronald Ragland Sr., when Ragland allegedly retrieved a handgun from his garage and shot him in the hip, according to Prince George's County police and charging documents filed in Prince George's County District Court.
