Detective Sgt. Deron Myers identified Coleman, who resided at the Carriage Way mobile home where the stabbing took place about 4:30 p.m., as a person of interest. “It appears there was a disturbance between these two parties who knew each other,” Myers said. The victim was identified by relatives as Nathan Johns, 29, of Sterling Heights, who was stabbed multiple times. An autopsy is expected to be conducted this morning by the Macomb County Medical Examiner. Coleman, who previously served time in jail on an assault charge, is also wanted on an unrelated felony warrant out of Port Huron for assault. Police said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
