SAGINAW — Quincy F. Thomas admits he’s an ex-con with a criminal past, but parents of some children who attend a Saginaw Boys & Girls Club site say he tried to show youths there how to make better choices. They want the Boys & Girls Club of Saginaw County to give the man they call “Mr. Quincy” his job back at the club’s program at Stone Elementary School, 1006 State. “He’s trying to change,” said Robin J. Seals, 43, of Saginaw, who described Thomas as a “role model” for her son at the after-school program. Thomas said the club’s new executive director, John Ayala, fired him in March. Read More. |
