| Officer's Resignation Follows DUI |

A correctional officer at the Dixie County jail resigned Thursday amid an internal investigation into her recent DUI arrest. Lorie Ann Hodge, 40, was arrested in Hernando County on May 4 and charged with DUI. At the time of her arrest, Hodge was on medical leave from her job at the jail. Sheriff's Maj. Scott Harden said Hodge was called in to the Sheriff's Office Thursday afternoon as a part of the internal investigation.
