DANVILLE — A local man faces first-degree murder charges in connection with a shooting death Tuesday evening. Jemarius J. Forman, 23, of the 200 block of California Avenue, remained handcuffed throughout the short hearing, which took place 15 minutes prior to the other arraignments. Associate Judge Gordon Stipp ordered Forman held without bond, basing his decision on the fact that “a tentative admission” had already been made. He did not elaborate. Read More. |
