| GA Announces Facility of the Year |

The Coweta County Prison has once again been named the finest county prison facility in Georgia. The prison was named the 2009 "County Facility of the Year" by the Georgia Department of Corrections. The prison won the same award for 2007. Warden Bill McKenzie was presented with the award at the GDC's sixth annual awards ceremony April 29 at the state offices in Tifton. Read More. |
