A LoJack® alert to one of Folsom Police Department's marked patrol cars led to a short pursuit from the Folsom city limits to Orangevale around lunchtime Monday. The pursuit ended with the arrest of a parolee who was out on bail for unrelated charges. It all began at 12:31 p.m. when an officer patrolling on East Bidwell Street near Oak Avenue Parkway received an alert on his LoJack® monitoring unit. The alert signaled the officer to head northwest, eventually leading he and fellow officers to the area of Greenback Lane and Main Avenue. Once on the border of Orangevale and Folsom, an alert officer spotted the white GMC 2004 truck, which LoJack® had identified by license plate, outbound Greenback Lane approaching Walnut Avenue.
