| Kidnapping Suspect Had History |

CEDAR RAPIDS - We're learning a bit more about Keith Elson, Jr., the suspect in Monday's kidnapping of a convenience store clerk in Cedar Rapids. Police say Elson used a knife to force 19-year-old Amanda Daniel out of the Kwik Shop on First Avenue SW when she was alone, working an overnight shift. Later that morning, police found both at Elson's apartment. She had barricaded herself in the bathroom, and Elson had a stab wound to the chest. Cedar Rapids police say they don't know when Elson will get out of St. Luke's Hospital. When he does, he'll face charges for the kidnapping. Read More. |
