Guam - The Medical Examiner has determined that Arlen Feranco died from blunt force trauma to the head. Feranco was murdered inside the Minimum Security Unit at the Department of Corrections' Mangilao compound last week. Dr. Aurelio Espinola confirms that the autopsy indicated Feranco was beaten, but he could not decisively say that the inmate was beaten with an object. Steven Peredo Albertson admitted to the murder, telling authorities Feranco challenged the hierarchy of inmates within the prison. Both inmates were serving life sentences behind bars for murder.
