Oregon Youth Authority has hired a new assistant director to oversee its 11 facilities statewide. Karen Daniels has 30 years experience in public safety and as a juvenile corrections professional, OYA officials said. "Daniels is highly respected by her peers for her accomplishments in Washington," OYA Director Colette Peters said.
