| Prison Sex Abuse Under Investigation |

LINCOLN — State officials are investigating the alleged sexual abuse of a prison inmate by a corrections officer who refused to un-handcuff the inmate to allow him to wipe himself after using the toilet. The guard then grabbed some toilet tissue and proceeded to wipe the inmate three or four times until the inmate told him that's “enough,” according to a complaint forwarded by former State Sen. Ernie Chambers of Omaha. The Nebraska Attorney General's Office and the Nebraska Department of Corrections are investigating.
