| Prisoner Remains in Critical Condition |

A 20-year-old inmate at Lancaster Correctional Institution near Trenton remained in critical condition Wednesday after collapsing while exercising at the state prison earlier in the week. The name of the inmate, a black man from Alachua County, was being withheld by the Florida Department of Corrections under federal health privacy laws. The head of the state prison system, Secretary Walter A. McNeil, told reporters on Wednesday morning that he was "heartsick and very concerned about what happened."
