YONKERS – A New York City corrections officer was robbed at gunpoint at about 12:25 a.m. Thursday and the bandit wound up with his Department of Corrections shield and ID card as well as an iPhone. The 42-year-old victim had just finished parking his car at 52 Shoreview Drive when a man approached him from behind, pointed a handgun at his and demanded his property. The robber insisted the man take his shorts off and hand them over. The robber took off with them and in the pockets were his shield, ID and iPhone.
