A Haddon Heights man who killed three women when he deliberately drove at high speed into a Mount Ephraim McDonald's has died while serving his prison term. Frank Nastasi, 60, died of natural causes Monday at a Vineland medical center, according to the state Department of Corrections. Nastasi was an inmate at South Woods State Prison in Bridgeton, where he was nearing the end of his sentence for the deadly incident eight years ago. Nastasi, who was a furniture retailer, was driving more than 100 mph when he crashed into the Black Horse Pike restaurant in the pre-dawn hours of May 15, 2002, authorities said. Read More. |
