POPLARVILLE — A former Hattiesburg police officer who later served as a cheerleader coach at Jones County Junior College was sentenced Thursday to a combined 30 years on two counts of sexual battery. Terrance Shane Wagner initially faced five charges of sexual battery and one count of child exploitation but was permitted to plead guilty May 6 to two counts of sexual battery.
