COVINGTON – A 23-year-old man accused of getting his 2-year-old stepdaughter drunk already has been convicted of abusing the child in another state, prosecutors said Tuesday. Raymond Jackson was arrested May 22 after his wife came home from work to find the toddler passed out at the couple’s Crescent Springs apartment. Erlanger police charged Jackson with first-degree criminal abuse, a felony punishable by five to 10 years in prison. Jackson, a former Marine, was convicted in North Carolina of abusing the girl, Commonwealth’s attorney Rob Sanders said during a preliminary hearing in Kenton District Court on Tuesday. Read More. |
