FREMONT -- A jail corrections officer has resigned after allegations that she was involved in a sexual relationship with an inmate. Authorities declined to release the name Thursday of the corrections officer who resigned May 26, but said the woman worked on the day shift. Officers are investigating the relationship, but said the inmate had not served much time. The inmate had been incarcerated before his most recent arrest. Officers did not release many details.
