| Charges Against Inmate Filed For Assault |

Faulkner County Detention Center inmate has been charged with aggravated assault on a correctional facility employee after allegedly hurling saliva and human excrement on detention officers. Inmate Samuel J. Davis appeared in court via video arraignment on Tuesday, but “became unruly and had to be forcibly removed from the arraignment proceedings,” according to a news release from the 20th Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney’s office. In his absence, bond was set at $50,000. Davis is incarcerated awaiting trial for allegations of drug-related offenses and terroristic threatening. Read More. |
