DANVILLE — Only one person remains to face charges in the shooting death of a Danville man almost a year ago. Torrence Woods, 37, of the 100 block of Logan Avenue, entered a plea agreement with the state’s attorney’s office as part of a hearing Wednesday morning in front of Judge Michael Clary. Woods was one of two men still facing charges for the shooting of Bennie Moten in July 2009. The final defendant, Reginald Siler, 37, of Chicago, also appeared in court on Wednesday. His case was continued until the end of the month. Bennie Moten of Danville died the morning of July 6 after he was shot outside his business, JB Professional Detailing, in the 700 block of Cleveland Street.
