A Conway parolee has been sentenced to 20 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to drug and battery charges. On Feb. 25, parole officers conducting a home visit on Alexander Montgomery Bethea at 2810 Wills Court in Conway discovered drugs and drug paraphernalia in Bethea’s bedroom and vehicle. Bethea was arrested and held for parole violation. Items seized included several pill bottles containing ecstasy and hydrocodone, plastic baggies, a digital scale, utility knives, a cell phone containing drug-related messages and currency located with the drugs.
