SALT LAKE CITY -- Corrections officials say an inmate stabbed his cell mate at the Utah State Prison with a metal object. The 30-year-old cell mate was rushed Wednesday to University Hospital with multiple, superficial wounds. Utah Department of Corrections spokesman Steve Gehrke says a motive for the attack was unknown. Gehrke couldn't describe the weapon. Read More. |
