| Kilpatrick May Go To Boot Camp |

Detroit (WWJ) -- Two weeks after he was sent to prison, the Michigan Department of Corrections is recommending ex-Detroit mayor Kwame Kilpatrick for boot camp – a program that would release him on parole in 90 days. The recommendation was sent to Wayne County Circuit Court Judge David Groner, who sentenced Kilpatrick to serve an 18 month-to-5 year term for violating his probation. Fox 2 and WWJ legal analyst Charlie Langton says he's surprised by this idea. "I'm shocked by this. I can not imagine that Kwame Kilpatrick could get out of jail and if Judge Groner has anything to say about Kwame Kilpatrick getting out of jail early, good luck...I don't think it's ever going to happen," Langton said.
