Jennifer L. Raley, 30, of Spring Valley pleaded guilty Thursday to unlawful possession with intent to deliver of a controlled substance, Heroin, a class 1 felony. She was sentenced to 6 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections, 2 years probation and she was ordered to pay $2000 in fines, fees and costs. Bureau County State's Attorney Pat Herrmann is recommending to IDOC that she be placed in the Impact Incarceration program, more commonly known as boot camp. If Raley is accepted into and completes Boot Camp her sentence will be considered served. On June 30, 2009 she and her husband, Luke Raley, were arrested in their home and nearly 300 packages of Heroin were found on the premises. Luke Raley was arrested again a week later with another 124 packages. Jennifer Raley was convicted of possessing 26 of those bags, totaling 3.8 grams. She has no prior convictions. Read More. |
