TRENTON — Two phone calls ended the life of Kendra Degrasse in 2005, authorities said Thursday. One call ordered the alleged killer to drive from Alabama to New Jersey to murder the mother of two. Another call allegedly lured Degrasse to a Trenton street corner where she was shot several times in the head. Both calls were made from inside New Jersey State Prison by an inmate using a smuggled cell phone, authorities said, the latest example of how dangerous phones can be behind bars. Read More. |
