| OK DOC Has 23 Furlough Days Ahead |

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma Department of Corrections plans to furlough all employees for 23 days in the upcoming fiscal year. Furloughs will apply to correctional officers, DOC Director Justin Jones said Thursday. However, some furlough days could be removed from the calendar if the agency receives about $30 million in supplemental funding, Jones said. "All employees will do one furlough day each in July, August, September, October, November, December, January and February," he said. "The furlough schedule after February will depend upon whether or not and or how much of a supplemental appropriation we receive when the next legislative session convenes." Read More. |
