| Helicopter Search For Parolee Falls Short |

GIBRALTAR — Police and Border Patrol agents took to the skies today in search of a man wanted on a multitude of drug and vehicle theft crimes. A parole agent from the state Department of Corrections tried to arrest the man, but lost track of him as he ran away from his residence and into a wooded area on the south side of Gibraltar Road, east of West Jefferson. Gibraltar police were then asked to get involved by setting up a perimeter of the area. They worked with Border Patrol agents, who sent a helicopter into the air over the wooded area. Read More. |
