| License Suspensions Don't Stop Man Driving |

SUMMERFIELD - A 42-year-old man whose driver's license has been suspended 17 times - and who was recently released from prison for a similar offense - was arrested Monday for a traffic offense. A deputy driving south in the 9200 block of Southeast 140th Street noticed a driver and passenger in a vehicle not wearing their seat belts. The vehicle sped away, but the deputy stopped it not far away. When asked for his driver's license, Larry K. Grubbs told the official his license is suspended. The deputy discovered Grubbs' license was suspended 17 times. In 2008, it was revoked for five years for his being a habitual traffic violator. Read More. |
