| ACA Gives IL Supermax Accredidation |

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — The Tamms Correctional Center has been accredited by the American Correctional Association. The Illinois Department of Corrections asked the ACA to audit the super-maximum security facility. Corrections Director Michael Randle says it received a 97 percent compliance rating earlier this month. The audit involved assessments of management, the facility, operations and services and inmate programs. Read More. |
