| Escapee Returning To Prison |

Department of Corrections officials said today a man arrested Tuesday during a traffic stop was listed as an escapee because he didn’t report to his parole officer. John Preston Perry Jr. was released from Powder River Correctional Facility in Baker City in October 2009, according to DOC spokeswoman Janine Hohn. He was incarcerated on convictions of stealing a car, being in possession of a stolen car and second-degree robbery, she said. Perry stopped reporting to his parole officer on May 20 and was placed on escapee status, Hohn said. Read More. |
