BENNINGTON — A residential facility that educates at risk youth is scheduled to go back into use this summer, but the change will still leave half the program empty, according to William Bryan, president of the Board of Directors of SEALL Inc. The program, which takes its name from its address, 204 Depot Street, was shut down around the end of January, putting 10 people out of work. For almost 40 years, 204 Depot Street has been a home for older adolescent boys between the ages of 15 and 17, where they lived for at least a year and received schooling and developed the skills to succeed in life. 206 Depot Street, a companion program, offered similar services, providing a short-term “stabilization program” for troubled boys before they were relocated to a more permanent home.
