SYCAMORE – A woman charged with setting a fire in her Sycamore home last March pleaded guilty Tuesday to a lesser charge. Justina Flores Hernandez, 42, had been charged with attempted aggravated arson, a Class 1 felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison. On Tuesday, she pleaded guilty to attempted arson, a Class 3 felony punishable by up to five years in prison. Under her plea, she was sentenced to two years in the Illinois Department of Corrections, and will be given credit for 104 days she has already served in the county jail since her arrest.
