![]() Milron Marketing The need for efficient, cost-effective transportation of prisoners has never been greater. Steel cages welded into vans have three basic problems; weight, cost and a lack of reuse. SecureCell is constructed of 3/16" aluminum with a perforated mesh pattern designed for Ford and Dodge vans and is available in long (10 inch) and short ( 9 inch ) wheelbase models. Because SecureCell is manufactured in Canada by Milron Metal Fabricators Ltd., the exchange rate on funds makes it very affordable for American buyers. And the best part is that the easy-to-install cage is easy to uninstall and be bolted into a new vehicle. Designed for federal prisons, state and provincial correctional facilities, sheriff's departments and police departments, SecureCell has a comprehensive collection of features including three separate compartments to allow flexibility and safety. Lexan panels over mesh provide for visibility and security. Floor and seat areas are sprayed with a polyurethane coating and two electric fans provide for cooling and movement of air. Side hatches allow for emergency extraction of passengers and spring-loaded door bolts with padlock provisions for security and safety, complete the package. SecureCell is currently in use by the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) in Alberta and the Alberta Sheriff's department. Sales office hours are from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. (ET) Monday through Friday. |
