The Yellowstone County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man on Wednesday who authorities say walked away from a Billings pre-release center Tuesday evening. William Blue, 47, walked away from the Alpha House Men’s Prerelease Center on North 31st Street at about 6 p.m. Blue is serving a sentence for failing to register as a violent offender. He was originally convicted of domestic violence in Missoula. Blue arrived at the pre-release center on May 5. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black jeans and brown work boots, according to a press release from the state Department of Corrections issued Wednesday morning.
