| No Contest In Infant Abuse Case |

A man accused of injuring his girlfriend's infant daughter has changed his plea. Stephen Perry, 23, pleaded no contest to assault on a minor. A detective assigned to the case testified that Perry squeezed the 2-month-old baby so hard she suffered broken ribs. The detective said the situation stemmed from frustration over the baby's crying.
