Authorities are looking for an inmate who escaped Thursday night from the Simpson County Community Work Center. Charles Ray Warren, 22, left the work center before the 9 p.m. inmate count, according to the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Warren is serving a five-year sentence for a vehicle theft and malicious mischief conviction in Hinds County. He is described as 5-foot, 6-inches tall and weighing 145 pounds.
