| Budget Cuts In Prison Security |

In the wake of recent budget cuts, leaders in the Department of Corrections (DOC) are examining ways to make security for the exterior of their prisons more efficient. "There are plans to consolidate the perimeter patrol at Algoa Correctional Center and Jefferson City Correctional Center," said DOC Communications Director Jacqueline Lapine.
