Back To Prison For DUI Offenders

These eight people convicted of killing or severely injuring someone while driving drunk were called back from a house-arrest program to serve time in prison. The Nevada Department of Corrections will set a new parole date for seven of them. One has been released.

John Berryman had a blood-alcohol level of .288 percent in November 2008 when he drove the wrong way on Interstate 80 and crashed into Lisa Fuimaono, 28, of Fernley. She was in a coma for a month and in intensive care for two months.

Started sentence Sept. 16, 2008, and went on house arrest Jan. 23, 2009, after serving four months in prison. He returned to prison in February and has 13 more months in prison before being eligible for parole.
