| GA Prison Bribery Scheme Foiled |

Detectives in south Georgia's Ware County Sheriff's Office have charged four people with bribing a state prison guard and a probation officer. Aaron Mater, a 27-year-old county inmate, and his wife, Melissa Musgrove, 25, of Quail Run in Waycross are charged with offering $1,500 to a probation officer to get Mater out of jail, Sheriff Randy Royal said. In the other case, Perry Lamar Hopkins, 31, of Albany and Margaret Ann Cunningham, 36, of Camilla are accused of offering a corrections officer $500 to smuggle a half-pound of marijuana and 10 cell phones into a prison, Royal said.
