State police continue to look for a state prisoner who did not return to a downtown Hazleton halfway house Wednesday afternoon. Sean M. Vought, 34, who was assigned to a pre-release program at the MinSec facility at 145 W. Broad St., escaped from that facility at 1 p.m., troopers said. Vought, who was serving a state sentence on felony theft charges, is now wanted on escape charges, troopers said. Vought is described as 5-foot, 7-inches tall with hazel eyes and blonde hair. His previous address was 517 Prescott Ave., Scranton, police said. Vought was committed to state prison on March 5, 2008, and released to MinSec's pre-release program on Jan. 11, 2010, according to the state Department of Corrections. Read More. |
