WAKE COUNTY (WTVD) -- Authorities are focusing their search for an escaped inmate in Wake County. Prison officials say Xavier Shaw hid in a vehicle on June 30 as it left an inmate construction site in Alexander County. Shaw was last seen wearing inmate issued clothing -- a white t-shirt, brown pants and black boots. He is considered extremely dangerous. According to the Department of Corrections, he has many relatives who live in northern Wake County and Raleigh. Read More. |
