CARSON CITY, Nev. -- Reports about a raucous party at the Nevada State Prison in Carson City are overblown, according to the man behind the event. The retired associate warden says the fundraiser sponsored by Vietnam veterans did not exceed the bounds of decency. Sources say the fundraiser was more like a frat party, with live entertainment that included scantily clad women. But Terry Hubert, the retired associate warden who coordinated the fundraiser, insists it was more like a USO show performed for American troops. According to the Nevada Department of Corrections, the fundraiser, a barbeque for the prison chapter of the Vietnam Veterans of America, was approved in advance.
