| Woman Gets 5 Years For Shaking Baby |

A Dillon woman who pleaded no contest to shaking a toddler, causing severe brain injuries was sentenced to serve five years to the Montana Department of Corrections. Wendy Graham, 25, learned her fate in District Court in Dillon Tuesday. She was originally charged with aggravated assault, but in exchange for the no contest plea, the felony charge was changed to criminal endangerment. She is accused of shaking a 2-year-old girl she was baby-sitting on Jan. 24, 2008, resulting in severe brain injuries. The little girl was eventually flown to a Spokane hospital for treatment.
