PRATTVILLE -- A woman who was shot twice in the head by her ex-husband while she was in the parking lot of a Prattville private school has filed suit against him in Autauga Circuit Court. Anita Washington still has a bullet from the attack lodged at the base of her skull, the suit reads. On the evening of Oct. 23, 2008, she was shot by Irilmoskomazzerella Washington just as she pulled up at Prattville Christian Academy. He pleaded guilty to attempted murder and was given a 20-year prison sentence, courthouse records show. He is serving his sentence at Bullock Correctional Facility in Union Springs, said Brian Corbett, spokesman for the Alabama Department of Corrections. Read More. |
