A Rockingham woman received an active prison sentence of 18 to 22 months for the 2008 hit and run death of 13-year-old David Ingram. Betty Lynn Johnson, 41, whose listed address was Blewett Falls Road, Rockingham at the time of her arrest, pled guilty to involuntary manslaughter and felony hit and run in Richmond County court. The accident happened on the morning of June 17, 2008, and Johnson was arrested later in the month.
