| NH DOC's New Billing System Working |

CONCORD, N.H. — The New Hampshire Department of Corrections says a new billing system it started six months ago to collect fines, fees and restitution to victims is paying off. Starting in January, the department began sending monthly bills to more than 8,000 offenders on probation and parole. Corrections Commissioner William Wreen says by the end of June, collections had increased to $3.4 million, or 28 percent more than the previous fiscal year. Read More. |
