Crenshaw County, AL (WSFA) - WSFA 12 News has confirmed that a prisoner from Crenshaw County jail has escaped. State troopers are trying to hunt down the prisoner who escaped from the Crenshaw County Jail. We have also confirmed that the State Department of Corrections is assisting in the search as well. A search dog team from Ventress Correctional Facility is also on the scene trying to track down the individual.
