An escaped convict is back behind bars Tuesday morning. James Frei was serving time in a Vinita prison for armed robbery and assault, but he walked away from a work crew Monday afternoon. Investigators got a tip that free was at an East Tulsa motel. As Tulsa police were getting ready to go into his room, Frei spotted them and took off. Officers found him hiding on the roof of a nearby restaurant.
